Finally we made it into IEEE Spectrum Magazine. They report about AMO’s latest paper in the August issue of IEEE Electron Device Letters. The paper is about a novel graphene based switch that uses a field-induced structural modification of the graphene channel to stop current from flowing inside the switch. Coincidentally I am working for AMO and my diploma thesis is about producing and characterizing this new switch.

Well, probably some of you know that I am working on novel graphene based devices for my diploma thesis. Right now we were able to optimize our production of graphene flakes so that AMO GmbH is now able to offer samples with graphene flakes on top. The substrate of our samples is usually p-doped silicon with some nano meters of silicon dioxide on top. It seems like that we are the second in the market after the Manchester based spin off Graphene Industries.
So, anybody interested? Have a look at our dample catalog www.amo.de/graphene.html
